Amrita Rao (born 17 June 1981) is an actress and model.
She made her acting debut in 2002 with Ab Ke Baras. She is best known for her performances in Ishq Vishk (2003), Masti and Main Hoon Na (both 2004), blockbuster romance Vivah (2006), Jolly LLB and Satyagraha (both 2013)
She won the Stardust Best Actress Award for Shyam Benegal's Welcome to Sajjanpur (2008).
She is the winner of the Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Award for Best Actress in Vivah.
